F1 2012 is now priority for Ferrari

Ferrari started season 2011 with high hopes, but Vettel and Red Bull ruined its plans. Ferrari are now 168 points away from Red Bull's in constructors and Alonso is 89 points behind Vettel with just 8 races to go. However Ferrari'er performance has taken an upturn in last 4 races still they are already planning for season 2012.

Team principal Stefano Domenicali said in an interview to Telegraph that the teams immiditate priority now is 2012 and he wants to ensure that the team doesnt suffer a similar slow start in F1 2012. Which means as Ferrari can soon halt the developments of 2011 car and shift the focus to 2012.

Domenicali said "Our target at the moment is really to stop in September and move to the new project and OK, if you have to do some fine-tuning you can do it, but otherwise you will lose a lot of time on development of the new car. The more time we can spend on the wind tunnel the better. Because for sure what I really want to avoid is another difficult winter like the last two years.
